• Local-first: Entries, media, and metadata live in an encrypted database on your device.
• No trackers: No analytics SDKs, third-party ads, or profiling.
• Premium unlock: Single Google Play purchase records ownership only (owned/not owned) after a single three-day trial.

Information We Store

• Journal Content: Entities, spells, offerings, observations, dreams, notes, and related metadata saved locally.
• Moments & Media: Photos or captured moments you attach stay within the app sandbox.
• Security Credentials: Passcodes and cascade deletion passwords encrypted via Android Keystore.
• Purchase State: Google Play provides a binary entitlement signal so Premium can be restored on the same account.
• Trial Timestamp: The UTC timestamp of when your three-day free trial started, stored in encrypted shared preferences so the paywall knows when to appear.

Permissions We Request

• Camera: Only when you capture or attach a photo from within the app.

The app does not access contacts, location, microphone, or background services.

How Data Is Used

• Render and organize journal content locally.
• Validate Premium ownership with Google Play Billing on-device.
• Track the local three-day trial countdown and lock the app once it expires.

Sharing & Advertising

• No third-party data brokers, ad networks, or analytics vendors.
• No sale or monetization of your content or usage patterns.

Retention & Deletion

• On Device: Data remains until you delete entries, reset app data, or uninstall.
• No in-app backup: Use device-level backups if you want redundant copies outside the sandbox.
• Reset App Data: In-app reset wipes the encrypted database and returns you to onboarding while keeping Premium entitlement and the trial countdown.
• Uninstall: Removing the app eliminates its sandboxed files per the operating system.
• Trial Persistence: Device-level backup settings control whether the trial timestamp is restored after a reinstall; the in-app reset option does not reset it.

Children & International Users

The app is not directed to children under 13. Rights and remedies vary by jurisdiction; you can always export or delete local data using built-in tools.
